Silicon Valley Extension Program Phase II
Cornerstone Supports Phase II
Cornerstone is providing project management services on the second phase of BART and VTA’s Silicon Valley Extension Program (BSVII). The project will create a six-mile, four-station extension of the regional BART system from the Berryessa/North San Jose Station through central San Jose to the City of Santa Clara. It will comprise three underground station platforms, one ground-level station, a 54-foot single-bore tunnel, and a new maintenance and storage facility. The extension is projected to serve 55,000 weekday riders by 2040 and improve connections to other regional transit services.Successful History with Phase I
Cornerstone was instrumental in Phase I, the Berryessa Extension, which was a 10-mile, two-station project that opened for service in June 2020. Cornerstone provided Construction Management Support, QA/QC, Inspection, and Project Administrative Support on Phase I.SITEMAP
